Book of the Week
"There Once Was a Man Who Swallowed a Germ"
Read a story written and illustrated collaboratively by year four students at Rostrata Primary School and brilliantly guided by their teacher Mrs Bernadine Blechynden. It's about two Western Australian scientists, Professor Barry Marshall and Professor Robin Warren. They invented a medication for stomach ulcers, saving billions of lives. Their story is remarkable and so they won The Nobel Prize for Medicine 2005.
