Make a low-tech kaleidoscope from foil board for less than forty cents and create a never-ending array of beautiful art using  three mirrors to create a series of complex triangular reflections. (ACSSU080)
                                                                           Use the picture board as a building plan


                                Materials and Equipment
                                 Foil Board
Purchase foil board from Riot Art and Craft stores or Office Works One sheet will make twelve kaleidoscopes and costs $4.00 per sheet in Riot and $3.70 in Office works

                              A3 Laminating Sheets
Run a laminating sheet through the machine to produce a clear panel. Use two laminating sheets (one inside the other) for stronger colour wheels.

                                            Skewers
You can use supermarket skewers but we prefer larger diameter 3.8mm birchwood skewers from PRO-PAC PACKAGING (WA). They have many other uses in the STEM Lab.
